1. From what you've seen, why do you think Heavenly Father created us to rely so heavily on each other?
One of the reasons I think Heavenly Father created us to rely so heavily on each other is that if you have someone supporting you and loving you, it will be easier to return home to Him.  In a family unit, if one member goes astray its painful for the other family members and most often, they will do everything they can to get you back to the straight and narrow so that they can be together with you after this life.  By being a part of a family, you learn to love in a way that you don't learn if you're removed from people.

2. What in the Family Proclamation supports scientific findings on our need to bond and connect with others?
The Family Proclamation states that "the divine plan of happiness enables family relationships to be perpetuated beyond the grave".  This shows that we are meant to have loving family relationships and that these relationships are to last for eternity.  We need an eternity of love to be able to fulfill our divine potential in the best way we can.  It also says that "husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children".  To care for your children and for your spouse, you must love them.  You have to show them love every single day and that is a responsibility given to us by the Lord.

3. Name a least 5 things in our culture/society that get in the way of a parent attaching or bonding with their child?
-work, school, friends or people outside the family, disorders, divorce.

4. What stood out to you the most in the videos?  Why?
The thing that stood out to me in the videos is that Alex is aware that he has problems and he wanted to be a part of a study to help other kids in the future.  Something else that stood out is that the need to be loved is so important to our development.  Without it, people have emotional problems that are extremely hard to overcome.  I think this just shows how important a loving family unit is to the development of our minds, bodies, and spirits.
